LABCOIN – RULES AND POLICIES
1. Safety Rules
1.1. Climbing dangerous places (rooftops, construction sites, other hazardous areas), as well as crossing roads outside designated pedestrian crossings, is strictly prohibited.
1.2. Hunters must avoid contact with strangers.
1.3. Conflicts and confrontations with other participants (Hunters or Hiders) are prohibited.
1.4. Persons under 14 years of age may participate only with the explicit permission of a parent/guardian or under their supervision.
1.5. All players are advised not to share any personal information.
1.6. During late hours (after 10:00 p.m.), individuals under the age of 18 may participate in Labcoin activities only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
2. General Rules
2.1. Each player may have and use only one user profile.
2.2. A found LabCoin must be registered in the application immediately. Leaving the location with an unregistered coin is prohibited. If registration is not possible, the LabCoin must be left where it was found for another participant.
2.3. Upon finding a LabCoin, a photo of the coin with a visible code and/or a selfie with it is required.
2.4. If the photos do not correspond to the actual location or required evidence is missing, the submission will be rejected.
2.5. During gameplay, both physical LabCoins and virtual Hexes may be discovered.
2.6. The organizers are not responsible for:
- damaged or missing LabCoins;
- stolen LabCoins;
- accidents or injuries occurring during gameplay.
2.7. Failure to comply with the rules may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.
2.8. Each account is entitled to only one LabCoin per day. After a coin is collected, the account is locked until 03:00 a.m.
2.9. Acts of disrespect or aggression toward Hiders and the application team will result in sanctions and suspension.
2.10. Leaving a location without registering a found LabCoin will result in the blocking of the account and the device.
2.11. In case of account suspension, all members of the family/household lose the right to participate until the penalty expires.
2.12. Repeated offenders are added to a “blacklist,” and Hiders may refuse interaction with them.
2.13. The sale of LabCoins is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate suspension.
2.14. Administrators reserve the right to suspend accounts at their discretion in cases of serious violations.
2.15. Clues are provided only publicly and must be accessible to all players. Private hints are prohibited.
2.16. Software interference, manipulation, or cheating in the game will result in permanent suspension.
2.17. Rules for collecting all 5-star and collaboration LabCoins:
Each family can play for up to one LabCoin.
If someone in the family has a LabPass, they count as a separate player and may collect their own LabCoin.
2.18. It is forbidden to use one device with multiple profiles.
3. Public and Exploding LabCoins
3.1. Collecting only one LabCoin per day is allowed.
3.2. Families, groups, or teams may collect only one LabCoin per day in total, regardless of the number of participants.
4. Quiz LabCoin
4.1. A daily question is published between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. If answered correctly, the location of the Quiz LabCoin is provided.
4.2. Quiz LabCoins count toward the daily limit of one LabCoin.
5. Auctions
5.1. Auction LabCoins count toward the daily limit. Participation in an auction is not permitted if a LabCoin has already been collected that day.
5.2. Depending on the type of auction, all bid Hexes are final and non-refundable.
5.3. The winner has 24 hours to collect the LabCoin from the specified location.
5.4. Participation in auctions for another city is prohibited without the ability to personally collect the LabCoin within 24 hours.
5.5. Any LabCoin not collected within the deadline will be released publicly and made available to all players.
6. Happy Hour
6.1. Happy Hour is held in certain cities every Sunday at a time determined by the city officials.
6.2. Participation is not permitted if a LabCoin has already been collected that day.
6.3. Only one LabCoin may be collected from a competition.
6.4. The family/group/team rule (see Section 3.2) also applies to competitions.
6.5. Happy Hours are intended for children and adults; the organizers are not responsible for the participation of minors.
7. Quests
7.1. Participation in a Quest is not permitted if a LabCoin has already been collected that day.
7.2. In most cases, participation requires a fee determined by the Quest organizer, which is non-refundable.
7.3. Successful completion of challenges yields Hexes determined by the organizer.
8. Giga-Chat
8.1. Channels must be used for their intended purpose.
8.2. Posting offensive or inappropriate messages or images is prohibited.
8.3. The chat may not be used for mocking or insulting other participants.
9. Liability for Material Damage
9.1. Participants must observe public order, respect private property, and refrain from actions that may cause material damage or endanger persons or property.
9.2. In the event of a violation (including digging, damaging, or accessing private property), the participant bears full civil and financial liability and must immediately restore the property or compensate for damages.
9.3. Labcoin is not liable for actions of participants who violate these rules and enter private property or cause damage. This does not exempt participants from liability before third parties or authorities.
9.4. In case of reported damage, Labcoin reserves the right to:
(a) temporarily or permanently block the offender’s account;
(b) refer the case to competent authorities;
(c) require compensation and restitution for damages.
10. Age Restrictions and Sanctions
10.1. Participants must provide accurate age information upon registration.
10.2. Providing false age information may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
11. LabPass Hunter Rules
11.1. Each LabPass subscriber is considered an individual participant entitled to one LabCoin per day, regardless of family/group/team membership.
11.2. If all family members hold a LabPass, each may collect one LabCoin individually. If only one member holds a LabPass, only that member may collect a separate LabCoin; others follow the general limit (see 3.2).
11.3. All other rules apply equally to LabPass participants.
11.4. If a LabPass account is suspended, the payment and subscription are non-refundable.

12.2. Messages are reviewed and answered within a few business days.
12.3. Any attempt to lure, manipulate, or improperly influence minors must be reported immediately with available evidence.
12.4. Labcoin will take appropriate action, including cooperation with competent authorities.
13. Processing and Storage of Images
13.1. Uploaded photos may contain personal data (faces, body parts, or incidental third parties).
13.2. By voluntarily uploading images, the player consents to their processing.
13.3. Images are stored on secure servers with access limited to authorized staff only.
13.4. Data is used solely for verification and gameplay control purposes and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.
